The Energetic Body

Quantum physics teaches us that everything is made of energy.  Atoms, our basic building blocks, consist of positively-charged protons, negatively-charged electrons, and neutralized neutrons. They are tiny force fields that give off electrical energy.  The Ancient Chinese discovered the channels of energy in our bodies, which they termed meridians.   When Chi (our energy) flows throughout the body meridians, we are in good health; but, if it is blocked, this becomes the first cause of disease.    

In the quest to better understand our body energy, the Ancient Chinese created systems, such as acupuncture to help us balance the body flow, and Qigong and Tai Chi to teach us how to move and balance our energy.  Today, researchers are learning even more about our body energetic systems and how to work with them.
