Thank you Dr. Gladys for this wonderful explanation of why the rocking chair is so important for new mothers and grandparents too! I noticed that people of all ages love rocking chairs in a wide variety of styles. In my ravels to other countries, I noticed this is true as well. An empty rocking chair is an open invitation to slow diown, rest for a few moments and get back in tune with ourselves and Mother Earth!
