Imagine traveling to war-torn villages in Afghanistan at 9,500 feet altitude to teach downtrodden village women safe birthing techniques. Imagine helping to create the American Holistic Medical Association, introducing acupuncture to Western medicine, writing books, and lecturing internationally.  Dr. Gladys has done all that, and much more.

Dr. Gladys McGarey, M.D., M.D.(H), is the unbelievably dynamic, 95-year-old Mother of Holistic Medicine, and she will be keynoting the conference.

Looking forward to this exciting event. Gladys has been a guiding light in my life for years. Could not put her life story Born to Heal down to sleep at night. It is a page turner. So glad she is being brought back to Austin again. What an inspiring Wise Woman. Namaste.
